Having started out within a manufacturing company, the Plexus team has been building manufacturing systems since 1989. Plexus Systems was formed as an independent company in 1995. Since then we have developed a strong reputation for providing state-of-the-art manufacturing information systems to a variety of industries. Plexus Online is especially powerful in industries with rigorous traceability and quality requirements such as Automotive, Aerospace and Defense, and Medical Devices.
Unlike many high-tech companies, Plexus Systems has not been funded with Venture Capital or an IPO. We're a privately-held company that has funded our development with our own operating revenue, and we've been profitable every year since our inception. We do it the old fashioned way, by delivering value to our customers.
In 2003, we moved our headquarters to Auburn Hills, Michigan. This new facility houses our Data Center and provides the base for our manufacturing engineers, software developers, hardware specialists and support staff.
