Quotation module Develop quotes quickly and easily! Users can quickly quote items factoring in such costs as materials, labor, taxes, and overhead/profit markups. Markups can be done as a percentage or a dollar amount. Customer discounts can be included. A history may be kept of all quote revisions as well as a complete history of all quotes customer by customer.

Sales Order A simple mouse click transforms a quote into a sales order. An entire quote can become a sales order, or only certain line items from the quote can be selected to appear in a sales order. As an option, sales orders can be created directly without first preparing a quote. The Sales Order Module keeps an optional history of all revisions to each individual sales order, as well as a complete history of all sales orders on a customer by customer basis.

Shop Traveler/Work Order Module Users, with simple mouse clicks, can quickly create each job's step by step production procedures and inspection requirements, certification requirements, materials needed and deadlines. A mouse click on the "lot split" button allows an order to be split up into multiple shop travelers to be produced at separate times. Shop travelers/work orders can be bar coded, allowing a "swipe" of the bar code to move a job from step to step in the production cycle.

Inventory Module Job Master manufacturing inventory software is tracked as it is received and used. Inventory may be deducted as shop travelers are created. Minimum and maximum inventory levels for items can be set. Users are "flagged": if inventory levels fall below a pre set amount, or if inventory ordered/received exceeds the maximum pre set amount. If a shop traveler calls for more inventory than is on hand, a prompt allows users to create a P.O. to reorder.

Shipping Module In the shipping module, all completed items appear on a list of product to be shipped. The shipping work screen allows selection of quantity to be shipped, destination, and entry of the number of boxes to be used and the weight. A packing slip and invoice are produced with mouse clicks. If only part of an order is shipped, the packing slip details not just what is being shipped but the balance remaining. The invoice bills only for what is actually shipped, and a running balance is kept of what product is owed to the customer.

Production Management Numerous tools are provided for the monitoring of production and output. At any time, the job status of a particular order can be checked including where it is in the production cycle, and the work remaining. Date range reports can be pulled detailing how much product was actually shipped during a given time. Other reports detail such things as work in production and the dollar value of that work. Managers can also easily review missed or approaching deadlines.

Customer Histories In the Quotation Module Every quote made for each customer is retained in history, and as an option each revision can be retained as well. A mouse click shows how many quotes for a specific customer actually have become orders. This is an invaluable tool for separating out solid customers from those who ask for multiple quotes, but don't buy.

Customer Histories In The Sales Order Module Every sale made to each customer is kept in history, and as an option each sales order revision can be kept as well. This feature allows a manager to track customer sales volumes and to offer specials and discounts accordingly.

Shop Traveler/Work Order Histories Each shop traveler and all revisions are retained in history on a customer by customer basis. Should a re order come in, or a review of a past job be required, a mouse click brings up the shop traveler/work order for review or duplication.

Materials and Inspections Lists A materials list for each job can be easily produced and printed, to act as a pick list. A list of all required inspections can be produced as well.

Accountability Each production step can be noted as to who did the work, the time and date the work began and the time and date the work was finished.

Supervisory Control Multi-level password control is included. Depending upon the password, users are allowed privileges ranging from limited access to full access to data entry and modification.

Production Review Work in progress status can be checked at any time. Users can also pull reports showing actual value and amounts of product shipped during a selected time frame. Reports can be created showing the quantity and dollar value of work in production, and work which is over deadline.

Multiple Contacts And Shipping Locations Multiple customer contacts and all contact information, plus multiple shipping locations can be entered for each customer.

Multiple Vendors And Preferred Vendors Multiple vendors may be entered, with a rating system for each vendor. Each inventory item can be "tagged" with a preferred vendor.

Purchase Orders And Requests For Bid P.O.s can be created on a "point and click" basis. Inventory can be received against a P.O., and if the amounts received don't match the P.O., a variance report is produced. Requests For Bid (RFBs) are also created with a few clicks. Vendors to receive an RFB are selected with a mouse click.

Invoices, Packing Slips, And Commission Tracking When items are shipped, a packing slip and invoice are produced with a mouse click. If only a partial shipment takes place, the packing slip reflects the partial shipment and lists the balance due. The invoice bills only for what is shipped. Sales commissions are tracked, a variety of sales commission reports are available, including total commissions due, or commissions due only on product shipped.

Export To QuickBooks And Excel Export add-ons enable the user to easily move Job Master invoice, Purchase Order and customer data to QuickBooks or all report data to Excel. The QuickBooks add-on is available for separate purchase.

Certifications And Customer Letters Job Master has the tools to set up product certifications and customer letters, which can then be produced on a "point and click" basis.
